OFT drilling Gulpen  

At the beginning of March, work started on the restoration of the Oude Geulmeander between the cores of Gulpen and Wittem, at the foot of the Gulperberg. Kouwenberg Infra has, as part of this, by means of an OFT drilling with a length of 33 meters (concrete Ø1000), constructed a culvert under the N278. As a result, the Oude Geulmeander will be reconnected to the water system of the Geul and the project will also optimise the water storage in the Geul valley upstream  of Valkenburg on the Geul.
