GFT drilling Krimpen aan den IJssel  

This uncommon GFT drilling of 27 meters (Ø559 steel) through the IJsseldijk in Krimpen aan den IJssel is ready! Since there was little space for our drilling equipment, a solution had to be found. This solution was realised by placing the steering unit, recycling unit and containers on a pontoon. After the final sheet pile construction was installed from the water, a temporary construction pit was placed around it. Subsequently, the construction pit was excavated with the aid of a crane ship and our drilling equipment was brought in and set up. For this project, the choice was made to carry out the work from the water as much as possible, in order to keep any nuisance to a minimum.
