Completion of the Casings project Südostlink C1 Germany!

In the past period, Kouwenberg Infra has completed and carried out a Casings project for a project of TenneT TSO GmbH in Germany. Thanks to our hardworking drilling teams, six boreholes were drilled at angles of 15, 17, and 20 degrees. These boreholes served as entry points for a number of HDD boreholes to be realized.

In collaboration with our suppliers, we have developed a new type of drill head with which we can drill under highly varying subsoil conditions—even up to solid rock. The new drill head operates excellently. Additionally, a powerful back wall outside the drilling frame is not necessary, because the frame can be anchored easily. To increase speed on this project and on future projects, we have chosen to add two identical drilling rigs to the fleet.
